A stamp for the 30th anniversary celebrations of the memory and legacy of Ayrton Senna

SAN MARINO, 31 May 2024 – Ayrton Senna was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1960, debuted in Formula 1 in 1984 and quickly became one of the most beloved and famous drivers of all time, winning three world championships in 1988, 1990 and 1991. San Marino is commemorating the greatness of the driver and the person, his determination and tenacity in facing racing and life. His exploits at the wheel are still capable of enchanting even today, the events that saw him as a protagonist have entered the history of motor racing and continue to inspire thousands of young people around the world even now, so many years after his untimely death.
This issue from San Marino features the logo created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the remembrance and legacy of a man who became a world legend, not only in sport.

This morning the issue was presented at the Secretariat of State for Sport in the presence of the local authorities.

The value is completed by the inscriptions “3.15”, “San Marino”, the Coat of Arms of the Republic of San Marino and the year 2024. The band to the left of the sheet bears the logo and the legend “Celebrazione del 30° anniversario della memoria e dell’eredità di Ayrton Senna”.
