The children’s art workshop of the atelier of the Servizio Minori led by artist Mario Arlati will create a work that will become a postage stamp
SAN MARINO, 20 June 2024 – The San Marino Postal Service has chosen to dedicate a special philatelic line to San Marino businesses that have contributed to the country’s economic and social growth; a journey through the territory’s most outstanding entities. In 2024, the 40th anniversary of LCS Laboratorio Chimico-Farmaceutico Sammarinese will be celebrated, a company that over time has guaranteed employment to many families and growth to the local economy. The project envisages that the children of the Centro Servizio Minori workshop together with contemporary artist Mario Arlati create a work of art to be donated to the San Marino State Museum. This work of art will then also become the subject of a postage stamp to be issued next autumn. The entire project will be illustrated by a video that will be visible by scanning a QRcode that will be placed on the postal issue.
