On the 24th and 25th of November 2023, the Cassa di Risparmio of the Republic of San Marino will host a prestigious banking conference with the theme “Beyond the Horizon: Current Challenges and Possible Futures for Small and Medium-Sized Italian Banks”. The title inspires the image with which the Philatelic and Numismatic Division of the San Marino Post Office has created a stamp worth €1.25 that will be issued in 20,004 sets of 12 stamps. The horizon line of the design created by “Esploratori dello Spazio” expresses the desire to grasp what the eyes cannot see, pushes man to overcome his limits and triggers the infinite desire for knowledge. The answers to every question are quenched in the hexagonal shape at the centre of the stamp, a perfect synthesis of scientific research and technological development, which traces the path to seize every opportunity.
