As every year, the “Christmas of Wonders” in the Republic of San Marino has returned. The theme of the 2023 edition, which will run until Epiphany 2024, is “A sweeter world”.
The event will open on the 25th of November with the lighting of the illuminations and the opening of some attractions, and on the 16th of December with the Piazza della Libertà show. The historic centre in San Marino will become an immersive experience, thanks to a route that will feature five large themed attractions and a series of illuminated and spectacular settings. Walls, streets and quarters will be lit up by kilometres of lights; the symbol that will mark the main quarters will be “candy”, a traditional Christmas treat.
Poste San Marino Divisione Filatelica Numismatica has prepared a special cancellation to celebrate the event with the inauguration date.
