The coin will be issued on the occasion of the 30th edition of the San Marino International Tennis Open to be held from
31 July to 6 August 2023.
It is no secret that the San Marino Tennis Federation, as repeatedly declared by its President, was working to raise the
level of the International Tennis Open with the aim of bringing the tournament back up to the same standards as when
it won the award for the best Challenger in the world. And today, in the year in which the San Marino Tennis Federation
celebrates the milestone of 30 editions of its flagship event, the San Marino International Tennis Open is preparing to
make a decisive leap forward in quality. The ATP has in fact accepted the tournament's request for an upgrade,
formalising its promotion to ATP125, the top category at Challenger level.
