50th anniversary of the Asiago International Philatelic Art Prize

The Prize initially operated only within the framework of the philatelic productions exalting tourism, environment and mountains. The range was later expanded including the whole thematic and figurative universe of postal series, becoming a sort of Award of philately. San Marino has been awarded 5 times. The stamp is inspired by the symbol of the Prize itself: an edelweiss embellished by the special technique of embossing.
