Europa - National Birds

The stamp series Europa 2019, dedicated to national birds, depicts the peregrine falcon, an extraordinary and elegant bird of prey which nests in a niche of the cliff near the First Tower, to be seen in the background. The first stamp shows a young falcon lying on a branch waiting for its flying parent to come, while the second value illustrates a falcon with two chicks.
